Adult VolunteersThe Cass Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, an adult volunteer program, was established in 1963.
The purpose of our volunteer program is to promote and advance the welfare of Cass Regional Medical Center, a not-for-profit hospital. This purpose shall be accomplished through service to the hospital and its patients, fundraising for special hospital projects, and by assisting and promoting the health and welfare of the communities served by the hospital.
Volunteers work in such areas as the Reception Desk, Gift Shop, Business Office, Specialists Clinic, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and with the hospitality cart. Funds are raised through sales in the Gift Shop, bazaar/bake sales, rummage sales, and fundraisers.
Membership is open to adults, aged 18 or older, who are interested in supporting the hospital. To begin the process of volunteering, each volunteer must fill out a standard background check and volunteer profile form. Once the background check has been completed, volunteers will be scheduled for a mandatory orientation and placed into an area of interest to them, depending on availability.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Donna Walters, public relations and development coordinator, at (816) 380-5888, extension 7830, or via email email@example.com.
